2011 White Cabernet Sauvignon Shalistin

A fragrant wine with tropical and citrus aromas. The palate is long and fine yet flavour filled, with notes of stone fruit, blackcurrant and fresh crunchy apples. Hints of fresh herbs, echoing the parent variety of Cabernet Sauvignon, add an extra dimension. This wine excels with seafood, chicken and lightly spiced dishes and will please even dedicated red wine drinkers.

Shiraz

2008 Illawarra Block Shiraz
Our 2008 Shiraz provides intense fruit flavours accompanied by fragrant spices and a gentle vanillin overlay. The wine is black/red and a little bolder than the 2006 vintage. The Illawarra Block, planted in 1999, was named after the Australian Illawarra Shorthorn stud cattle that previously grazed on the land.

A fabulous drink-now wine that will develop complexity if cellared for several years.

This wine is estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon with 4% of our own unique White Cabernet Sauvignon Shalistin, co-fermented for 12 months in French oak barriques.
